The truth about bread

 Symptoms of blosting and fatigue after eating bread can often lead individuals to suspect that they have a wheat or gluten intolerance, but this is not necessarily the case.  In general the making of bread for large retail markets involves a rapid industrial process that strips wheat of its nutrients.  Additives and preservatives leave the bread indigestible.   The Real bread campaign promotes the use of traditional bread making that does not involve processing aids or artificial additives.  

You can order real bread from companies, such as Leaker's Bakery in Bridport, Dorset or The Baker Boys in Hampshire.  As an alternative try sourdough bread, which is available in some supermarkets.
